Real Madrid - Galatasaray Predictions 03/04/2013

Usually I like backing this Galatasaray side, especially as outsiders, but away to Real? No can do. Terim’s Gala have plenty of match winners, they always score goals, home and away, and they will probably find the Real net also tomorrow. Their defence, however, is not trustworthy with players like Riera and Eboue playing from the start.

Sneijder, injured playing for Holland, will be fit for this fixture and with D Drogba and their sharpshooter Burak Yilmaz Galatasaray look quite strong in their front line, also on this level.

Right or wrong I expect Real to score at least three goals in this first leg and there is no way that Galatasaray will be able to match that. Varane, the young Real defender, has been an injury doubt, but he will be available for this game. Home winner, 3-1, 4-1 or 5-1,

Real Madrid - Manchester Utd preaiction

Real Madrid - Manchester Utd 1.70 - 5.50

In my opinion Barcelona and Real Madrid are in a class of their own in Europe. Chelsea won the Champions league last season? I know and Inter also won the title not so long ago. That is football, a shrewd tactician can succeed with an inferior side and some luck. Will the United coach Ferguson be that tactician? What I do know is that he has to come up with something special to prevent his side from getting knocked out by Real.
Khedira, Xabi Alonso and Özil were rested for Real at the weekend. Pepe made his long awaited come back and he could start tomorrow, or Varane will get the nod.
Real will be in perfect shape for this big game. While Van Persie is a deadly goal scorer C Ronaldo is not only that, he is also tormenting his opponents from start to finish, never tiring it seems. It is looking good for United as well and I expect a cracking game. Winners: Real of course.
