Barcelona Vs Milan Prediction 12/03/2013

Barcelona - Milan 1.35 - 10.00

Messi, Iniesta, Busquets, Pedro, Pique and J Alba, all started on the bench at the weekend, when Barcelona defeated La Coruna 2-0. Xavi was not even fit to play. Tomorrow they will all return, including Xavi, and Barca will be at full strength for this second leg.
Pazzini, the stand in striker for Balotelli in the first leg, is injured and both will be missing tomorrow. Niang replaced Pazzini late on in the first leg and maybe he will play from the start this time. I do not expect Milan to do much of an attacking job in this game. This could be a one sided affair with Barca totally dominating the ball possession and Milan focusing on their defensive duties. They are after all 2-0 up. Then again I would never rule out a Milan goal scored by, say El Shaarawy and for Barcelona to advance to the quarter final they have to improve drastically. It is difficult, even for a side like Barcelona, to succeed when you are not in your best form.
Milan have the more in form than players, if you know what I mean. They are on a sensational domestic run and looking at their squad I understand absolutely nothing. Questionable looking defence, Muntari playing from the start in the middle, but hey, you cannot knock success. Home winner.

Schalke Vs Galatasaray Prediction 12/03/2013

Schalke 04 - Galatasaray 1.85 - 5.15

Mixed fortunes for these two sides at the weekend. Schalke won the “revier derby” against Borussia Dortmund, while the league leaders in Turkey lost a home game against Glencerbirligi. There was absolutely no talk about Galatasaray playing with reserves.
Schalke defeated Borussia, a massive result for the club, but they lost their sharp shooter Huntelaar to an injury and he is out for the season. That is a devastating blow and Marica, forward as well, is also on their injury list. J Jones will be suspended for this game, but Uchida, missing in the first leg, will be back in their defence. Schalke can play with one striker, Pukki, or choose playing without strikers.
Sneijder seems to play at most for an hour or so in the Galatasaray games, obviously not yet fully fit, but I expect both Drogba and Sneijder in the starting line up tomorrow. J Elmander is still injured.
Schalke go through with a 0-0 result and without Huntelaar maybe it is the best they can hope for tomorrow. It is all about the odds and under the present circumstances day I have to risk some cash on the outsider. There will be one or two Turks in the stands and 5.15 are great odds on the away win.
