The combative defender, who turned 30 last month, has two years left to run on his current deal but Chelsea are willing to offer improved terms on his £120,000 a week salary.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain have both shown interest in Ivanovic but he is keen to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge where he has become a trusted figure for manager Jose Mourinho.
