Malaga Vs Borussia Dortmund Predictions 03/04/2013
It has been an incredible European campaign from Malaga. I could of course say that everything that Malaga have done this Borussia side has also achieved. The big difference is the surprise factor. No one, absolutely no one, expected Malaga to reach the quarter finals, while Borussia, by many, have been named as potential Champions League winners. Well, they won their group ahead of Real Madrid, did they not? Malaga only miss the injured Eliseu.
Borussia will have Grosskreutz and probably S Bender back for this game and it looks like their defender Schmelzer will be able to play with some kind of protective mask. Blasczykowsky is a doubt and Grosskreutz could be the man replacing him.
Both sides come to this fixture in good shape and do not for one minute believe that Malaga will be lacking in confidence ahead of this quarter final. The way they took care of Porto, down 0-1 from the first leg, was a demonstration of real strength. The outcome? Opposing Borussia in Europe this season has not been a good idea and at the end of the day, I will refrain from doing so.
