PSG Vs Valencia Prediction 06/03/2013

P S G - Valencia 1.90 - 4.50

Quite superior in the first leg PSG should have been home and dry by now. Instead they conceded a late goal and they are “only” leading 2-1 ahead of this second leg. They have defeated Marseille twice since the first leg, but at the same time PSG have lost league games against two close to the bottom sides, Sochaux and Reims. I get the feeling PSG thrive on the big games, but have problems in low profile fixtures. Ibrahimovic and Verratti will be suspended tomorrow, but both T Motta and T Silva are back in contention for this game. T Motta or D Beckham could come in for Verratti and maybe Gameiro will replace Ibrahimovic. J Menez is a slight injury doubt.
Valencia have to manage without their two central defenders R Costa and Rami. They both played in the first leg. V Ruiz and Mathieu will line up in their central defence tomorrow. It is not an ideal situation for Valencia, but I could of course say much the same about the PSG situation ahead of this fixture. I mean, although Ibrahimovic has not been in any kind of top form lately his physical presence is a constant threat to his opponents. I cannot really see PSG losing this game.
