The away win will be my choice. Time for Mourinho to make the difference. Usually Barcelona are a well oiled machine, but we could see how they struggled against Milan a week ago. Nothing really changed during the game and this surprised me the most. How good is their present coach Roura? Even a team like Barcelona need to make changes when it is not working for them. Maybe Roura is not up to the challenge, when the going gets tough?
This is where Mourinho enters the equation and I expect him to outfox Roura tomorrow.
Xabi Alonso and Benzema are both back in contention for Real. In form Kaka could be preferred to Di Maria. Varane or Pepe in their central defence. Barcelona have a fully fit squad.
This cup semi final is everything to Real. They have no chance of reaching Barcelona in the league and winning the Spanish Cup is their chance of getting domestic silve ware this season. On Saturday Real welcome Barcelona to the Bernabeu Stadium for a league game, but for Real it is about reaching the cup final and defeating Man United next week, the league fixture is the least important for Mourinho and his team.
Opposing Barcelona, when they are in form, is out of the question, but this bet is built on the assumption that Messi, Xavi and the rest are having a rare dip in form. Backing the outsider.
