Borussia Dortmund - Shaktar Donetsk 1.65 - 5.95

Surely Shaktar are not as harmless as the odds on offer indicate. They will be better tomorrow than in the first leg and Borussia are not in their brilliant group stage form. The first leg in Donetsk was the first really competitive game of the season for Shaktar and at the weekend they started their domestic season with an easy win. Quite logically Shaktar will most likely offer an improved passing game tomorrow and their players will be able to up the tempo.
Kucher will be back in their central defence for this second leg having been suspended in Donetsk.
Borussia have missed their German international defender Hummels for a couple of weeks, but they hope their chief in defence will be able to make a timely return tomorrow. He is very much a doubtful starter and F Santana could replace him again. There are some who think that Santana is a safety risk.
I wholeheartedly accept that it is advantage Borussia tomorrow after 2-2 in the first leg, but you can never rule out a team like Shaktar, a team filled with exciting individuals fully capable of deciding any game on this level. Over game? Yes, it certainly looks like that.

Mr Mourinho, facing United is what you get for not winning your Champions League group. The winners (Borussia Dortmund) are playing Shaktar. I would never have Real as favourites tomorrow and consequently there is only one possible choice for me and that is backing United. United were as strong as Real in the first leg (1-1), their confidence is sky high after an impeccable season on the domestic front and their squad is perfectly fit at the moment. Only Phil Jones is considered an injury doubt.
Real are of course also brimming with confidence after their two wins against Barcelona last week and they also have all their best players available for this game. To beat an out of sorts looking Barcelona side is one thing, but defeating Ferguson’s United at Old Trafford on a Tuesday night will be much more of a challenge for Real. Of course Real can do it, they can defeat any side, but so can United and they have the home advantage this time and the odds are too good to be true. Home winner.
